The XI Spanish-Portuguese Conference on Controlled Drug Delivery was held in Granada (Spain) (21st to 23rd January 2016). There were 122 representatives from nine countries who attended the conference. The program included four plenary lectures, 14 invited lectures, 24 oral communications and 79 poster communications, and five sessions, including one for the Young Section of the society.
The SPLC-CRS General Assembly was also celebrated during the conference, summarizing the current and prospective state of the local chapter, and the new Directive Board was elected: João Nuno Moreira (President), Maria Manuela Gaspar (Secretary), Dolores Torres (Vice-President), María Blanco (Vice-Secretary) and Manoli Igartua (Treasurer).
