The doctoral project focuses on the development of CAR-T therapies using nanoparticles and will be carried out at the University of Navarra in collaboration with the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, CIMA, Hospital de Navarra, NavarraBiomed, and several companies in the sector.
The "Biomaterials and Nanomedicine" research group led by Prof. María Blanco, in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Navarra (Department of Pharmaceutical sciences) is offering a predoctoral position associated with the project titled "Development of Innovative Medicines based on CAR-T: Data, Artificial Intelligence, MAssive Sequencing, and Nano-Technology (DIAMANTE)," funded by the Government of Navarra as part of the “Strategic Projects” initiative.
Project Description
This PhD project focuses on the development of CAR-T therapies using nanoparticles. Following the synthesis and characterization of the nanoparticles, these nanosystems will be evaluated in cell cultures and animal models to analyze CAR formation both in vitro and in vivo. The project will be conducted at the University of Navarra in collaboration with the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, CIMA, Hospital de Navarra, NavarraBiomed, and several industry partners.
Candidate Profile
• Recent graduate or Master’s degree in chemistry, pharmacy, biology, chemical/biomedical
engineering, or related disciplines.
• Enthusiasm and motivation for research.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
