JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidate will work in a pre-doctoral position within our research project centred in the development of methodologies for the analysis and characterization of messenger RNA for vaccination applications. The primary goal of the project is to develop new methodologies for the characterization and analysis of messenger RNA (mRNA) applied in vaccines, with a particular focus on the use of liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS) equipment. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research in this field, participating in the optimization of advanced analytical techniques to study complex biomolecules such as mRNA.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Laboratory work related to the preparation and treatment of mRNA samples for analysis using liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS) techniques.
- Assisting in the development and optimization of analytical methodologies for the characterization of mRNA.
- Operation and optimization of LC-MS equipment.
- Analysis and interpretation of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry data.
- Writing technical and scientific reports on experimental results.
- Collaborating with other researchers on the project and contributing to scientific publications.
